TACK CLEANING
NoCo Equine Services offers tack cleaning, repairs and inspection for tack, including Western and English saddles, bridles, breast plates, and saddle pads.
CLEANING, OILING, CONDITIONING
Leather tack is an investment. Tack is at times subject to harsh conditions with prolonged exposure to sun and rain, which degrades the leather and can be costly to repair if not maintained correctly. Taking care of your tack also increases the re-sale value.
NoCo Equine Services can help care for your tack, whether it be a deep clean, oiling and condition, to using air and sheepskin mitten for those blingy show saddles.
We clean all leather tack, whether it be a Western or English saddle, bridles and halters, roughout or items with intricate detailing.
We have tested and use only the finest products for tack cleaning. Before cleaning tack we will consult with the client and develop a tack care plan.
*Depending on the condition of leather, products used may darken the leather. If customers are concerned with the changes in tack color, we will always test an inconspicuous area and show to the customer before proceeding.
INSPECTION AND REPAIRS
Unfortunately, tack can't be used forever, though by inspection, repair and maintenance you can prolong the life of your tack.
Tack that is not inspected can become unsafe for the horse and rider. Not only should tack be visually inspected every ride, but it is also a good idea to have the hidden parts, such as the tree, inspected by a professional, especially if tack has been sitting in a corner for a while or a horse has fallen on top of a saddle.
NoCo Equine Services has coordinated with local small business tack inspection and repair experts to provide these services for you. If you want tack inspected and repaired, we will get the tack to these businesses. The businesses will inspect and then provide estimates for repairs, if needed. The client can then decide to proceed with repairs and cleaning.
We use Happy Horse Saddle Services for English tack and 287 Ranch Supply for Western tack inspection and repairs. Client is responsible for all inspection and repair charges incurred by these providers.
OTHER TACK
Remember to care for all the other tack that isn't leather.
Don't throw away pads because of the dirt and grime, instead send us Western saddle pads and blankets, English saddle pads, fleece-covered saddle pads, etc. We will clean your saddle pads, making them look brand new.
We also clean cinches and girths, boots, tail bags, brushes (yes, brushes!) and all the other tack that could use a good clean! There isn't a whole lot of tack that we can't make look brand new.
